Hi, I’m Samantha -

Sammi for short

I’m the wellness practitioner and Licensed Clinical Social Worker behind Inner Alchemy, where I strive to create a warm, collaborative space for authentic connection and healing to flourish.

I understand how challenging it can be to find the right support on your journey, so I’d love to share a bit about myself and my approach to help you feel more at ease.

First, I want you to know that I hear you. Throughout life, I’ve struggled to connect with my true self, often quieting my voice to align with others’ visions for me. Through various therapeutic experiences- from trauma-informed therapy to breathwork and somatic movement - I’v gained invaluable insights. These experiences inspired the birth of Inner Alchemy.

Here, I support women and young adults in discovering their self-worth, deepening their self-connection, and tapping into quiet strength and softness to blossom along life’s journey. I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the healing process. My goal is for us to work together to navigate the mountains you may face so you can walk with a renewed sense of self, hope, and empowerment.

My therapeutic Approach is integrative

blending EMDR, parts work, mindfulness practices, and yoga to nurture emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being. This allows the space together to develop a personalized treatment plan that honors each person’s unique needs

Eye movement desensItization reprocessing (EMDR)

An evidenced-based modality that emphasizes the use of the body’s innate healing system (AIP or Adaptive Information Processing System). This system allows us to experience, process, and healthily store memories. However, sometimes in life, we experience something that we can not fully process, leading it to become maladaptively stored or “stuck.” In EMDR, the goal is to intentionally access the stored experience, to healthfully engage in AIP system, to process and re-store it, creating a renewed association so we no longer have the relive the memory or feel defined by it.

Parts work

Parts work is based on the idea that we are composed of different “parts” of self, each with its own thoughts, feelings, and roles. These parts each represent various aspects of our personality, shaped by our life experiences, especially during stress or trauma. Parts work aims to build a compassionate and cohesive relationship with these parts, allowing for greater understanding and harmony within ourselves. We can access our core strengths and resilience by nurturing and integrating these aspects.

Mindfulness + Yoga

These practices offer powerful ways to support mental well-being by calming the mind, soothing the body, and building emotional resilience. Mindfulness practices encourage being present with compassion, helping reduce stress, and fostering self-awareness. In combination, yoga’s therapeutic use of movement, breathwork, and grounding practices are nurturing tools for reconnecting to the body, easing tension, and supporting nervous system regulation. They each create a holistic, integrative path for emotional balance and overall wellness.
