How do I know I am ready for therapy?

Feeling ready for therapy is a deeply personal decision, and there is no perfect time to start. If you are considering therapy, that may be a sign that a part of you is interested in it being something to explore. Being “ready” doesn’t necessarily mean that everything is in the perfect place to start, but rather that you ask yourself curious questions, are open to growth, and are interested in gaining insight. Maybe you have tried other things or therapeutic modalities in the past, are feeling stuck, or simply want to cultivate an increased sense of well-being.

How do I know if we are a good fit?

I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation for anyone interested in working together to ensure we both feel comfortable moving forward! I am always happy to answer any questions regarding my approach, style, schedule, and other aspects. It is my ethical obligation to let you know if what you are seeking is outside of my training, areas of education, or practice.

How long should I expect to engage in services?

The length of therapy is fully personalized to your individual goals and needs. Some clients find short-term therapy helpful for specific concerns or transitions, while others prefer longer-term support for deeper self-exploration and lasting change.

During our initial sessions, we can discuss your goals and what you hope to achieve, helping us determine the right timeline for you. Therapy is a personal journey, and your comfort and readiness always guide the pace. Whether short or long-term, my priority is creating a space where you feel supported every step of the way. It is never my goal to see you for an indefinite amount of time.

DO you offer in person or online services?

Currently, all sessions are offered online via a secure video conferencing platform or in person at Nurture: A Wellcare Marketplace (2949 Federal Blvd, suite 232 Denver, CO 80211). This flexibility allows you to engage comfortably from home or in a nurturing, supportive environment.

I also offer select in-person classes, workshops, and one-on-one private yoga sessions at varying locations weekly - Check out those offerings here.

Can you work with anyone in the country?

For clinical therapy services, I can only work with clients who reside in the state of Colorado due to licensing regulations. However, yoga services are available to anyone, regardless of location, as these are not considered therapy and can be tailored to your needs wherever you are.


Do you accEPt Insurance?

Yes! I currently accept varying insurance plans through Headway, which partners with a variety of providers to make therapy more accessible. For those who prefer not to use insurance or don’t have the ability, I also offer self-pay options and a limited number of sliding-scale clients through Open Path Collective to accommodate different financial situations. Learn more about payment options here. Unfortunately, I am unable to accept clients who hold Medicare or Medicaid insurance.

do i have out-of-network benefits? how do i know if i can use them?

Out-of-network benefits are determined by your insurance plan; you must inquire directly with your insurance provider to determine your unique benefits. Often, you can also locate this information under the Summary of Benefits section of your plans breakdown. Regardless of benefits, you will be responsible to pay the full cost of the service or session upfront; I am happy to provide a super bill each month for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

What are your practice hours?

I currently offer sessions Monday through Thursday from approximately 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Mondays and Thursdays are virtual, while Tuesdays and Wednesdays are in person at Nurture: A Wellcare Marketplace located at 2949 Federal Blvd, suite 232 Denver, CO 80211. Please note that these hours may vary seasonally throughout the year.
